Co-Presidents: C.J. Fleming, Ph.D. and Julianne Flanagan, Ph.D.

Serving as Co-President of the Couples SIG is a two-year commitment. The Co-Presidents have the following responsibilities:

In terms of number of work hours, there are some weeks when little is required and others when more time is needed. On average, each president spends two hours per week in this role.


Student Co-Presidents: Dev Crasta and Kayla Knopp

Serving as Student Co-President is a two-year commitment. The Student Co-Presidents have the following responsibilities:

Although the time commitment is manageable more work is required as the ABCT conference approaches. However, this is a manageable amount of work and a nice way to get to know people in the Couples SIG.


Treasurer: Melanie Fischer, Ph.D.

Serving as Treasurer is a two-year commitment. The Treasurer has the following responsibilities:

The time commitment is not large; however, more availability to communicate and plan with the other officers is needed in the weeks prior to the newsletter and during the period of planning for the SIG conference events.


Newsletter Co-Editors: Sarah Bannon, Annie Le, and Kate Nowlan

Serving as Newsletter Editor is a two-year commitment. The Editors prepare two newsletters each year (spring and fall); tasks specific to publishing each newsletter includes the following responsibilities:

This position does require some planning. In the month prior to publication of a newsletter, 8-10 hours is spent preparing the final product, which is published on the Couples SIG website in PDF format. This position provides the opportunity to become acquainted with many Couples SIG members and other contributors to the newsletter.


Media Coordinators: Marissa Bowsfield and Katie Lenger

Serving as Media Coordinator is a two-year commitment. The Media Coordinator has the following responsibilities:

The workload for this position is reasonable through most of the year. The most time-consuming aspects are updating the website and the listserve. Previous experience with web design is very helpful.
